3:2:1 DEFENCE 10/20
Focus and simplicity.
Simple can be harder than complex.
You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple.
But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.

Why is intelligence a crucial factor in the success of a centre half (CH)?
The centre back is the only defence player who constantly has the entire offence in sight. The front line players have the line player in and out of sight, depending on the situation.
The right half (RH) and front center (FC) don’t see the line player in this situation:
This is the reason the centre back “guides” the 3:2:1 zone. He has to instruct his teammates at all times using simple guidelines.
Pivot on me!
The front center (FC) knows he can go out to cover the centre back.
The front center (FC) has to go deeper out to the centre back to avoid the block even though he didn’t see the line player)
