How did I create exercises to develop coordination while working with the Chinese national team?

Which criteria did the exercises have to meet to be considered good enough?

When creating an exercise to boost the development of coordination, we are trying to focus on the harmonized use of different muscle groups in one movement structure.

We are also creating sets of training content that consist of a number of different exercises.

Our goal is to put the player in a situation where he has to alternate between different skills during a short time period.

The exercises are very simple, the atmosphere is relaxed, and a foot grid, gymnastics elements performed on mats, and hurdles are what we use to boost the development of different biomechanical movement structures.


The team performing the exercises in the video is the Chinese Women’s Cadet National Team.
