CREATING EXERCISE 1/2

One of the first things beginner coaches need is a number of exercises so that they could implement what they imagined in practices.

That’s a necessity.

Over time, it becomes necessary to release the addiction to collecting exercises and creating collections or encyclopedia of exercises.

Exercises should not be collected, but rather created depending on the practices’ goals.

The mental process of the exercises collector is as follows:

I have an exercise. (Answer to question: What do I do in practice?)

I will do this exercise for 10 minutes and require players to perform it precisely. (Answer to question:How do I run the exercise?)

The goals I will achieve by this exercise. (Answer to question: Why will I do this?)

The mental process needs to be reversed.
